I’m super excited about sharing one of my intentions this year: being in my body more. By that, I mean understanding what’s under the hood, my organs, how they work, what nutrients they prefer, and what things seem out of balance or misaligned in my body.
My journey began because I’ve been trying to understand why I’m having hormonal migraines—then understanding the connection between my life. During those times of the month, my estrogen is high. So, I’m trying to do more to support my liver and also understand the emotional and spiritual connections with my liver.
After years of studying cognitive psychology and climbing the equivalent of the corporate ladder and hospital system, I neglected this connection with my body. Therefore, I’ve been diving deeper into studying the nervous system and somatic practices and embracing that connection.
This experience has motivated me so much that I’ve decided to offer my vision sessions again! I genuinely believe in thought work and cognitive psychology. Still, there’s also so much to learn from our body, for example, doing interesting practices like ecstatic dancing and other movements that help move energy and release some stagnation.
