mid-year-review-goals

It is halfway through 2024, and I believe this is an excellent time to revisit any goals, intentions, or desires you may have set at the beginning of the year. Whether it was to lose 10 pounds, work out more often, or hit a business revenue goal, now is the time to look at where you are in these pursuits. I always encourage my clients to stick to the facts, the numbers, and to meet themselves with compassion and curiosity. This is not the time to beat yourself up or feel bad if you have lost sight of these intentions.

This can also be a great time to eliminate any goals that no longer seem aligned. Sometimes, we hang onto goals out of obligation, but it is always okay to let go of a goal if it no longer lights you up inside. If you hear yourself saying, “I should” keep doing this, that can be a sign that you are operating from an obligation vs. a state of enlivenment.

Our visions are not fixed entities, so they can shift based on the seasons in our lives. This year, my daughter is graduating and going out of state to college, so I have shifted some of my intentions to spend more time with her. I will likely bring back or create time for new pursuits when she goes away. So, dust off those goals and ask yourself:

What is my vision for the rest of the year?

What is meaningful for me to accomplish in the next six months?

What makes you feel more alive?

Six months is still a long time to work towards something important to you.
