The Secret Ingredient to getting what you want-Part 2
Part 2 is practicing having an abundance mentality. This means that you love what you have NOW but want more only if you choose to.
The secret ingredient to getting what you want-Part 1
One of the most profound lessons that I have learned about goal cultivation, a fancy way of saying making your dreams come true, is that whatever you think you are going to feel when you get that result you hope for is the currency to get it.
What I think of me
Your relationship with yourself is what matters most. Not what I may think, your boss, your children, even your partner. When your relationship is not great, we often search for our self-esteem to be inflated from other people.
Delicious Desire
Without over-desire, saying no is so much easier. Being in control of how much you consume is no big deal. Having just a few is totally fine. I know that I am over-desiring something when I feel compulsive around it. Impulsive even. What if there was another way? Another way to deal with your desire?
We don't do that anymore!
Have you ever considered going on a stress, overwhelm, anxiety, or self-criticism diet? I have been practicing this with my long to-do list, it only reinforces to me that all of these indulgent emotions pretend to be necessary but are really optional.
