Screw It!
When I ask my clients to report back the thoughts they had prior to overeating, over drinking, not keeping a promise to themselves, or setting appropriate boundaries the top 3 that appear most often were: ‘Screw it’, ‘I deserve it’, 'It doesn’t matter.’
People Pleasers are Liars!
What has been transformational for me to understand is that people pleasing is about trying to control what someone else thinks about us. This works 0% of the time!
